How we merge visionary strategy and fine art to build your brand
BEHIND OUR DESIGN PROCESS
Complete brand identiy: behind the timeline
Phase One ——— Strategy + Creative Direction
For complete brand identity experiences, we spend the first couple of weeks steeping in your brand’s world. What does it look like, sound like, smell like? What attracts the target audience? What truly sets your business apart from competitors, and how can we tell a unique story that gets your product (or service) flying off the shelf?
This time focused on strategy and mood board/creative direction is the most valuable asset from our studio - it is what sets our client’s brands apart and what sets a foundation for nuanced and clever, custom design and brand experiences.
Phase Two ——— Exploratory Design
Once a direction is established, it’s time for the team to start exploring the visual extension of the story. Initial logos start to unfold. Fonts are selected. Colors get pulled into a cohesive color story. We present with a one-concept method. After a week or two of initial designs, we present the visual direction and either adjust, or move on and build on top of it.
Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott is an immersive world inspired by Texas. This project included a custom typeface.
The story of Freewheelin’ extends past the logos and into a retro world of roadtrips, carefree exploring, and a sense of adventure via custom digital painting, graphic borders, and patterns
Phase Three ——— Design + Systems
When the initial designs are approved, the team builds upon that. With a complete brand identity, this is when we develop icons, patterns, signage, and/or packaging as applicable. The brand guide comes together and creates a set of systems that your brand is built on top of.
As the brand comes together, you’ll feel a surge of energy that grows with your brand.
When the full brand identity is approved and signed off, we share a Google Drive folder with all finalized brand elements.
Not including unforeseen revisions, this entire process is 6-8 weeks.

Ready to flourish? We’re ready when you are.
behind your visual identity
Phase One ——— First, Some Homework
For brands that are seeking just a custom visual approach, we first ask that you fill out a workbook that we designed. This was created to capture your brand’s strategy and mission in a format that our team can design from. This is sent upon the retainer payment and is due a week before your project date.
